We offer the quiet of the countryside with free, safe parking within a 30-minute drive of Philadelphia and Wilmington.
Hamanassett Bed & Breakfast is an enchanting location for intimate wedding ceremonies and celebration receptions in Pennsylvania. We only do a few small upscale events each year – no more than 15 people including the wedding couple. Our serene bed and breakfast estate on seven landscaped acres with stately trees, cascading waterfall Koi pond, stone terrace with water nymph fountain at the end of the English rose and lavender garden path, along with the elegantly appointed house provide a beautiful and memorable setting for your special occasion
Breakfast is served beginning at 8:30 and served until 9:30 Monday through Saturday and from 9-10 AM on Sunday. Enjoy a cozy fire in season and antique silver, crystal, and china reflected in the glow of candlelight. The floor-to-ceiling curved French doors offer a view of the south lawns, gardens, and terrace with fountain. When weather permits, enjoy dining on our terrace.
Each room at Hamanassett Bed & Breakfast has been individually decorated in keeping with the style of the 1856 house by innkeeper Ashley in an easy elegance, which offers comfortable and relaxed lodging away from the hustle and bustle of your normal day. Four rooms on the second floor and three rooms on the third floor each have a private attached bathroom. Looking for a pet-friendly getaway in the Brandywine Valley? Dogs are welcome in both of the cottages, which have fenced-in yards. The Cambridge, which is located away from all the other rooms, is our dog-friendly room in the main house.
