Welcome to C.W. Worth House, an historic Bed and Breakfast.
Take a “southern-style stroll” down brick streets rich in architecture. You may even find yourself in the middle of a commercial or scene from a TV series… Six, Good Behavior in its second season, Secrets and Lies, and Revolution filmed its first season in Wilmington. Other shows filmed in Wilmington include Sleepy Hollow, Under the Dome, Dawson’s Creek, and One Tree Hill. Some blockbuster movies filmed in and around Wilmington are Iron Man 3, Sleeping With the Enemy, Safe Haven, and The Longest Ride.
At the heart of our bed & breakfast is the dining room, where guests gather around the large table in an atmosphere that lends itself to sharing the day’s events, the numerous area attractions or a chat with a new-found friend.

The entire house is centrally heated and air conditioned for year-round comfort. We offer complimentary refreshments and snacks on each floor in the hallway.
Driving from Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and points North: Follow Interstate 40 East toward Wilmington. I-40 turns into NC State Highway 132 South briefly. At the second traffic light turn right onto Highway 74 WEST (Downtown Wilmington and Airport) Stay in left two lanes. (NOTE: You will pass the airport which is about the half way point to downtown.) After 4 1/2 miles the road becomes North 3rd Street, then after 9/10 of a mile, you will cross Market Street and the road becomes South 3rd Street. The CW Worth House is four and a half blocks past Market St. on the right hand side, 412 South 3rd Street.
Driving from Charlotte and points West: Follow State Highway 74 East towards Wilmington (will join Hwy 17 & 76) Follow signs for Hwy 17 BUSINESS North (straight ahead, not an exit) over the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge (over Cape Fear River). At the first traffic light turn left onto South 3rd St. Go five blocks to Nun Street and make a U-turn, The CW Worth House is 412 South 3rd Street.
Driving from Myrtle Beach and points South: Follow US Highway 17 North towards Wilmington. Follow signs for US Highway 17 BUSINESS North (straight ahead, not an exit) over the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge (over Cape Fear River). At the first traffic light turn left onto South 3rd St. Go five blocks to Nun St. and make a U-turn, The CW Worth House is 412 South 3rd Street, Wilmington, NC 28401.
Driving from Jacksonville and points North: Coming from US-17 S, follow signs for I-140 W/US-17 S (signs for I-140 W/Shallotte/Myrtle Beach). Take Exit 14 to merge onto US-17 S/US-421 S. Drive 2.7 miles and then turn left onto NC-133 N/US-74 E/ Isabel Holmes Bridge. Stay in left lane. Continue for .7 miles and merge onto N 3rd St. Then after 9/10 of a mile, you will cross Market St. and the road becomes South 3rd St. The CW Worth House is four and a half blocks past Market St. on the right hand side, 412 South 3rd Street.
Driving from VA/NC Border Via I-95 South to I-40: Take I-95 S to Exit 119A (sign says I-795 S/US264 E Goldsboro/Wilson). Get off exit onto US264E/I-795S and go 4.3 miles to Exit 43 (I-795 S) Continue approximately 27 miles where I-795 S turns into US 117 (the speed limit drops to 50 MPH). In approximately 18 miles follow sign for I-40 East. I-40 turns into NC State Highway 132 South.
