The Perry House was built in 1903 and recently restored into a beautiful country inn complete with custom designed furnishings by master craftsmen, Guest rooms are tastefully decorated and have plenty of room for all your belongings. With two windows in each room, they are bright and cheery, helping you to appreciate the wonderful surroundings. Each room has an in-room bathroom, queen-size bed with down comforter, cable TV with VCR, and individually controlled heat and air conditioning. many scenic and challenging golf courses in the High Country will fit the bill for all golfers. Fly fishing, hiking, biking, whitewater rafting, and horseback riding are also available close by. We will be happy to make arrangements for any of these activities for you. We look forward to hosting you soon. If all you want to do is "kick back" and relax, then well have a chair waiting for you on our porch in summer or by the fire in winter. The Perry House is located near the intersection of Hwy 184 and Hwy 194 (the only traffic light in Banner Elk!) and up the hill from Dunns Deli. Lees-McRae College is just across the street. Well be happy to provide directions when we confirm your reservation. Based on the experiences of other guests, we do not suggest using online mapping programs to find us.
