The Penrose Victorian Inn located in the scenic Pioneer Valley, minutes west of Northampton Massachusetts in the village of Haydenville is at the foot of the Hampshire Hilltowns; gateway to the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts.
Penrose Bed & Breakfast Inn is known for Victorian elegance, and was selected for a national Christmas television special with the Mark Twain House. Locals refer to the Inn as "The Painted Lady".

Directions from Boston
Massachusetts Turnpike (Rte 90) to Exit 4 (West Springfield). Travel North on Interstate 91, use exit 19 (2nd Northampton exit). At stop light at end of ramp, proceed straight ahead 1 mile to next stop light. Proceed straight ahead 2.4 miles on Bridge Road to stop sign. Take a right onto Route 9 and go 2.8 miles. You will see a sign "Welcome to Williamsburg". After passing the Congregational Church and Town Hall on right, Penrose is the 4th house on the right - Pink Victorian.
From Hartford & Springfiels

North Heading South
Traveling South on Interstate 91, use exit 20. Proceed to stop light. Take a right on to Bridge Road (Webber & Grinnell Insurance Co. on corner). Proceed straight ahead 2.4 miles on Bridge Road to stop sign. Take a right onto Route 9 and go 2.8 miles. You will see a sign "Welcome to Williamsburg". After passing the Congregational Church and Town Hall on right, Penrose is the 4th house on the right - Pink Victorian.
West to East
Traveling East from Pittsfield on Route 9, proceed to Williamsburg center and proceed 2 more miles on Route 9 to Haydenville. Brassworks (an old factory) will be on your right. Two pillared houses on your left. We are the third house after the pillared houses - Pink Victorian.
