Maples Inn Bar Harbor Mai
Offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the Maples Inn has six distinctly decorated rooms, all with queen size beds and private attached baths with showers. Select a two room guest suite with fireplace and canopy antique bed or one of the guest rooms that features an antique wood, four poster bed. Other guest rooms feature cast-iron or brass beds with wicker filled sitting areas. Our Red Oak room boasts it’s own private treehouse deck, tucked away quietly in the surrounding tall maple trees. Start each day at the Maples Inn with a hearty New England breakfast, served in our sun filled dining room. Your palate will be treated to scrumptious delights and you’ll have the opportunity to engage in good conversation with other Inn guests. Tasty home baked cookies and cakes are sure to please your afternoon appetite after an invigorating walk in the mountains or along the island’s rugged sea coast. Acadia National Park, just five minutes away from our front door, offers a year round wilderness playground. Follow Route 3 from Ellsworth to Bar Harbor, approximately 15 miles. In Bar Harbor turn left on Cottage Street, go four blocks to Roberts Avenue and make a right. (Watch for Citgo sign.) Maples Inn is on the left side of the street at 16 Roberts Avenue.
