ACCOMMODATIONS
Garden Level:
Located on the first floor of the lodge, these most affordable garden level rooms open onto the common living room area.
Upper Level:
Upper Level rooms are located on the second and third floors of the lodge and offer a bit more quiet than the Garden Level rooms.
Balcony:
These rooms all have small balconies and mountain views. They are located on the second and third level of the lodge. Some rooms have Jacuzzi-jetted bathtubs.
Deluxe:
Our deluxe rooms are located on the fourth floor and offer the most privacy. Additional amenities in our deluxe rooms include king bed, private deck, Jacuzzi-jetted bathtub, microwave, personal stereo CD player, skylight and mountain views.
From Denver International Airport
Aspen is approximately 4 hours from Denver International Airport. Take I-70 west and follow it to Glenwood Springs. At Glenwood, take exit #116 and follow the signs to Hwy 82. Take Hwy 82 through Glenwood Springs and stay on the same road all the way to Aspen approximately 42 miles).
From Denver Interntaional Airport (Summer Only)
A slightly shorter and more scenic summer route from Denver to Aspen (approximately 3.5 hours) goes over Independence Pass. Follow I-70 west to Hwy 24 at Copper Mountain. Take Hwy 24 and follow the signs; they will direct you through Leadville to Hwy 82 and west to Aspen over Independence Pass. This route is open only during the summer, from approximately May 31 to October 31.
From Eagle Airport
Aspen is approximately 1,5 hours from Eagle Airport. Take I-70 west and follow it to Glenwood Springs. At Glenwood, take exit #116 and follow the signs to Hwy 82. Take Hwy 82 through Glenwood Springs and stay on the same road all the way to Aspen.
From Grand Junction
Aspen is an easy 2.5 hour drive from Grand Junction. In Grand Junction, take I-70 east to exit #116 in Glenwood Springs. Exit and follow the signs directing you to Hwy 82. Follow Hwy 82 through Glenwood Springs and on to Aspen.
Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE)
Located just five minutes from downtown Aspen, the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport is the only airport in the country where it is possible to arrive and be on the mountain in just minutes. Non-stop service is available during ski season from Denver, Atlanta, San Francisco, Houston and Los Angeles via United and Frontier Airlines. Non-stop service from Denver is available during the summer months.
Eagle County Airport (EGE)
Aspen is also served by Eagle County Airport located just a short 90 minute fdrive from Aspen over non-mountainous roads. Winter service is available from 11 US cities via 5 major carriers. Summer service is more limited.
Denver International Airport (DIA)
In addition to airports in Eagle and Aspen Colorado, visitors can also choose to fly into Denver International Airport (DIA). Located 220 miles from Aspen, this airport offers some of the best airfares in Colorado and daily direct international flights.
